Sports fees autumn 2017

From autumn 2017, sports stickers go gradually out of use. They are replaced by using online payments for each season (autumn/spring/summer) and showing a mobile receipt when needed. The payment receipt provides you access to the fitness classes, sports sessions and gyms of Academic Sports. The autumn sports fee is available from 16 of August and you can participate also in summer schedule until 25 of August with the autumn fee.

Autumn (until 31 December) 40€
Spring (1 January–30 April 2018) 40€
Summer (1 May–31 August 2018) 20€

The payment includes group fitness classes, ballgame sessions and gym services.

How to pay sports fee:

  1. Login with you own organization user id and password to: https://www.korkeakoululiikunta.fi/en/sportspayment
  2. Pay according to instructions using bank account, credit card or PayPal
  3. After the payment you will receive a clear .pdf receipt as an attachment in you email inbox
  4. Please open the receipt so that it is visible in your phone before entering the sports facility.Then show it, if required.
    Additionally, color print of the receipt will be accepted also. In addition keep you student/staff card with you.

It is still possible to pay with cash at Soppi store, if you cannot use web payment methods. However, we recommend web payment and mobile receipt for everyone!

There are several ways to access and show the receipt:

  • A. You may access your email and show it there
  • B. You may save the receipt as a pdf-file to the device or some service (iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox etc.)
  • C. You may take a screenshot of the receipt and save it as an image to the gallery in your device. You do not need internet to access your images. Taking a screenshot is easy:
    • iPhone: Open the receipt. Press simultaneously Power-button and Home-button. The screen flashes and the image is saved.
    • Android: Open the receipt. Press simultaneously Power-button and Home-button or Volume Down and Home-button until the screen flashes and the image is saved.
  • D. You may print the receipt and show it on paper. Prefer color copy, the receipt includes certain color for every semester and it is thus easier to inspect.
  • E. You can also download the receipt and, for example, send it to your email: Log in on the sports payment website https://www.korkeakoululiikunta.fi/en/sportspayment.
    The link to the receipt is visible under the title “Description and receipt”. Click the link to download the receipt.

  • F. You may save direct link to the receipt to the home screen of your device. By clicking the link, the receipt opens directly without need to login in or open email. See more instructions below (iOS): 
  1. Open receipt from your email and select share-button.

Same login applies to Android devices. You will find "add to home screen" option from the menu in your email.

The Director of Administration’s decision on the user rights of University Sports services

 

University Sports of the University of Jyväskylä organises:

  • Academic Sports services that include group fitness classes, ballgame sessions and common sports events. The services are meant for the students and staff of the University of Jyväskylä and the JAMK University of Applied Sciences, as well as to the students of the Jyväskylä regional unit of the HUMAK University of Applied Sciences.
  • University Sports services that include courses, free classes of various sports and other activity meant only for the students of the University of Jyväskylä.

The following student and staff groups are entitled to the whole offering of University Sports (including the Academic Sports services in Jyväskylä) in accordance with the University Sports price list.

  • Students who pursue a bachelor’s, master’s or postgraduate degree at the University of Jyväskylä and have registered for attendance at the University of Jyväskylä for the current academic year. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a student card or registration certificate.
  • Visiting postgraduate students or exchange students who have registered for attendance at the University of Jyväskylä. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a student card or a registration certificate.
  • Students who pursue separate pedagogical studies at the University of Jyväskylä and have registered for attendance. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a registration certificate.
  • Students who pursue JOO studies at the University of Jyväskylä and have registered for attendance. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a registration certificate.
  • The employees of the University of Jyväskylä or its subsidiaries. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a staff card or a similar certificate.
  • The University of Jyväskylä’s grant employees who have no employment relationship with the University but work at the University premises with the permission of the head of department.  They can prove their eligibility to the services with a grant researcher ID card.

The following student and staff groups are entitled to the whole offering of Academic Sports services in Jyväskylä.

  • Students of the JAMK University of Applied Sciences and students comparable to full-time students (min. 5 ECTS credits / term) at the Open University of Applied Sciences (e.g. Open Study Path students). They can prove their eligibility to the services with a Kela meal subsidy card.  
  • The employees of the JAMK University of Applied Sciences. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a staff card.
  • Students of the Jyväskylä regional unit of the HUMAK University of Applied Sciences. They can prove their eligibility to the services with a student card or a registration certificate.

Students supplementing their degrees or completing separate study entities, the students of the Open University and part-time untenured teachers at the University of Jyväskylä are not eligible to the services of University Sports.

 

Payments for the sports services are decided separately.

This decision overrules all prior decisions on the rights to use the University Sports services.
