Info

In uMove ball game and self-directed sessions you have an opportunity to play in multiple sports with communal group. We have wide variety of different ball games available. Sessions are self-directed where players operate independently without guidance. uMove ball game sessions supervisors will check out the sports fees/ uMove membership and count the number of participants. They have a right to ask to leave a person, who haven't paid the sports fee or do not follow the rules or instructions.

uMove offers also ball games START-courses which can be found here

In addition, there is a self-directed skating session at the training ice rink (Harjoitusjäähalli) in the fall season and self-directed gymnastics/training sessions in L-building Telinesali. The aim is to offer a skating session also for the spring season on outdoor ice if weather conditions enable this.

Levels

Are you wondering which sessions or level suit for you? Are you a beginner, a basic level or an advanced player? Our ball game sessions are basically divided into three levels. The levels are marked in the calendar with START, BASIC or ADVANCED. All the other sessions are basic level self-directed playing sessions.

START = The START session is aimed at beginners as a low-threshold session without the instructor. Players operate sessions independently: collect the necessary equipment, make teams, start games, end the game on time, and return equipment at the end of the session. Mixed session.

START-sessions are available in the end off February. Before that uMove will offer ball game START-courses. You will find courses from here. There is also links for registration. START-courses start in week 3/4.

BASIC = Basic playing sessions without an instructor. Players with a bit more experience can join in. Players operate session independently: collect the necessary equipment, make teams, start game, end the game on time, and return equipment at the end of the session. Mixed session.

ADVANCEDThe session is aimed at players who do the sport actively or have done it at the hobby or race level. Mixed sessions without an instructor. Players operate session independently: collect the necessary equipment, make teams, start games, end the game on time, and return equipment at the end of the session

Other sessions are basic level without an instructor.

Check necessary equipment later on the page.
